It pays to be happy.

I woke up, feeling excited for this day's events. Today was the day we were supposed to shoot all the scenes of the movie. I was glad that this headache was now finally coming to an end. But because we are only our own gods and we can't control the things that are going to happen, the headache seems like a whole body ache now.
My mom and I left the house at the same time and that hasn't happened for a while now. That was definitely a good thing. But when I arrived at the terminal which I was to wait for a van to ride to school, the line was bearable but there were no vans. I arrived minutes before 7AM as the scheduled meeting was at 8AM, but the vans started coming in at 7:15. For most of the trip - the start of it, to be exact - I was asleep so I really didn't have anything to complain about. But when I arrived at school, I was already late and most people were irritated at me again.That's okay. I'm used to that.
I fully expected the people I SMS-d the night before to be there already because I clearly said that they were the actors/actresses and that they need to be at school at 8AM. But guess what? Only two of the boys were there and some other people which I really don't need to be there. Turns out, one of the main actresses were still on the journey and one of them (now I don't know if this is true) didn't receive my message. It's too early in the morning to be stressed out, I know.
So I called one of the girls who was renting a room near school so that she'd arrive faster and we could shoot the film faster, but she wasn't answering. I figured she was still asleep so I decided to call one of her roommates who's also conveniently my block mate. I asked her if she could wake the actress up and ask her to bring 3 pairs of clothes because I need her there. She said "okay", so I sighed a sigh of relief.
Minutes later, one of the main actresses arrived and my main cameraman did too. The other main actress SMS-d me and told me she can't go 'coz she slept with her hair wet and she has a headache. I was like, "Well, f*ck. How about me, huh? I have more things to think about but I'm here because this needs to be done. Can't you just sacrifice for once?! JUST ONCE!"
But as the understanding block head that I am, I told her it's okay and asked her to ask another block mate of ours who was staying in the same dormitory as her to go instead. She arrived, as expected, but carrying a small plastic bag. When I asked her what was in the plastic bag, she said those were the clothes I asked for. I was exasperated. But yet, I still asked her calmly and nicely to go back to their dormitory, take a bath, and then go back because we lack one main actress. It was a good thing she agreed.
Little by little, we shot the scenes. But due to the late time we started and some of us have classes after lunch, we (me and the block head of the other block) decided to resume the shoot after the classes of the people who had them. And then I ate. By that time, I was enjoying myself because I was with some of the people who never fails to cheer me up.
And then we got back to school. We looked for the people who we were to shoot but they did something else that was in relation to their class which they could do some other time. I was really pissed off because if we proceeded to shooting the remaining scenes, we could've finished the movie by today. The Tech team could've edited the movie today, made the trailer and the poster tomorrow, and we wouldn't have to worry about a thing anymore. But noooooo. They didn't want to act so they chose to leave me expecting them back after their class.
Nakakainis lang kasi napaka-self centered ng mga tao. Maawa naman kasi sila sakin. Pagod na pagod na ho ako. Ayoko ng dagdagan pa to kasi sawang-sawa na ko. Paulit-ulit na lang. Gusto kong umiyak. Putang ina. :(
